In order to reserve a specified time period, you must contact us, verify that the desired time period is available, and request that we hold that date pending receipt of your deposit. 

If your stay is more than two weeks away, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your dates, and the balance (plus security deposit) is due 14 days prior to your arrival date. 

If you are reserving a period that is less than two weeks away, the total amount of the rental (plus security deposit) is required. 

(You may pay the security deposit by a separate check.  We will hold it and return it unless there are charges for loss or damage.)

If we do not receive your deposit within 5 days, we will remove the hold and make those days available to other guests. 

Reservations for Thanksgiving and the period from December 20 to January 4 require 30 days cancellation notice. Other times of the year, cancellations require 14 days notice.

If you cancel your reservation prior to these dates, we will refund your reservation deposit, less $25.00 service fee.  Otherwise, you will forfeit your entire reservation deposit.

Rent will be charged according to the time of year and length of stay, as listed on the "Rates" page. Rent may be paid by check, money order, or credit card (using PayPal). Make checks or money orders payable to "Jesse Blatt." Checks returned for non-sufficient funds are subject to a $45.00 fee.

Once you have taken occupancy, refunds of rental payments will be made only in the event that circumstances not in our control make the Rental uninhabitable (such as, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, extended interruptions in electric or water utilities, or failure of any major appliance, e.g. oven or refrigerator). Rental fees will be returned in a prorated amount subject to the remaining rental time not yet expired.
